First Attempt

My daughter set this blog up for me. She is a great blogger and has made many friends.

I just had a visit from my children from out of town. My oldest daughter and her daughter 9-year-old Katie arrived on June 17. They left on July 15. My third daughter and her four children arrived on July 8 and left this morning. It was so fun having them here and they loved playing with their local cousins.

My daughters spent their vacations packing me for a move which I am making very soon. I have to down size from four bedrooms, a living room, family room, two bathrooms, office room, furnace room, dining room, to two bedrooms, combined living and dining room and two bathrooms. It is hard to let go of all my "treasures" which my children think is junk. I came home and found an article on my pillow stating that hoarding is a disease that can be treated.

Anyone else have the same problem??

I would love to communicate with someone in my situation.

I only put it on your pillow because it was so funny to find it at the bottom of a bag full of "stuff". love you!

Hi there, your daughter told me about your blog. There are a few blogs on the Calling All LDS women blogsite with women that are in your stage of life.
My mother in law blogs, so if you would like to visit her, and see what she does, I am sure she would be happy to make a new friend.

Little by little we learn as we practice so the PBS special on brain plasticity says. See http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4b3XcNENTLk. I hope you will think about posting more. Women of our age can have fun, valuable life ideas to share.
